Carefully Selected should relish conditions in National Hunt Chase
Benie Des Dieux is a mare we think the world of and she carries an impressive record into today's Grade 1 Close Brothers Mares Hurdle (4.10), a race she won two years ago and would almost certainly have won last year but for falling at the last when looking set for victory.
She has since won a Grade 1 at Punchestown, the French Champion Hurdle and the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park in January where she trounced her rivals by 21 lengths.
We had other options this week but we decided to stick to the original plan. She's in great order and will love the soft ground, so we're looking forward to a big run.
