Inspiral is set to contest the Grade 1 Filly & Mare Turf at the Breeders’ Cup next month with connections believing the star miler can stretch out in distance around Santa Anita’s tight turf course.
Trained by John and Thady Gosden for Cheveley Park Stud, Inspiral was last seen powering clear of her rivals to win the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes in style under Frankie Dettori.
A subsequent attempt at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on Champions Day was bypassed due to the testing conditions at Ascot and the four-year-old’s preference for fast turf.
