Arqana on Thursday announced details of three two-year-olds who have been added as wildcards to the catalogue for their Arc Sale, due to take place at Saint-Cloud a week on Saturday.

Debut winner Controvento, who scored by six lengths at Divonne-Les-Bains over 1700 metres last Sunday, will be up for grabs as lot 10. Trained by Alessandro Botti, the son of George Vancouver carried the colours of Paolo Zambelli and hails from the family of Varevees and Kaldounevees.

Joining Controvento at the sale will be Ardara Belle, a daughter of Anodin who also made a winning start to life this week, scoring impressively on Tuesday at Fontainebleau over 1200 metres by two lengths.

The filly comes from a Juddmonte maternal line that includes Interval, Short Pause and Zambezi Sun.

Completing the trio will be Bopedro, to be offered by Joel Boisnard. A son of Pedro The Great, the colt has won two of his four starts to date and never finished outside the first two.

A Daniel Cherdo homebred, Bopedro is from the family of triple Group winner Sands Of Mali.

A further four wildcard entries are set to be announced before next week's sale. Arqana unveiled details of an initial 45-strong catalogue earlier this month.
