Dan Skelton keen to run Grey Dawning in Saturday's Charlie Hall but drying ground at Wetherby may bring Carlisle into play

Dan Skelton is keen to run Turners’ Novices' Chase winner Grey Dawning this weekend but is waiting on the weather for his two options.
Grey Dawning is the shortest-priced British-trained horse in the Gold Cup ante-post market at 16-1 and could return in the bet365 Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on Saturday or the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase at Carlisle on Sunday.
The seven-year-old has raced on no quicker than good to soft in his 13-race career. The going is good to soft, good in places at Wetherby and good to soft, soft in places on the chase course at Carlisle, with both tracks expecting a dry lead-up to the meetings.
