Windsor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a small perm for the evening action

It’s great to be racing at Windsor after the cancellation last week, so let’s play the Placepot.

The opening 1m3½f handicap (5.35) is an open race, but Sisterandbrother has run well on his last two starts and looks a solid Placepot play. Crestwood might be the best alternative.

Accrington Stanley bids to break a run of seconds in the mile handicap (6.05) and should be placed. I’m inclined to try and keep the perm down, so it might be worth banking on him.

Rock Melody takes a big drop in class in division one of the 6f novice (6.35) and is a banker.

Hersilia made a promising debut when fifth at Newbury this month and is most likely to win the second division (7.05). Piffle was two places behind her at Newbury and is also included.

The in-form A Sure Welcome has been lucky with the draw in stall one and should be placed in the 5f handicap (7.35), while Future is also banker material in the 1m2f maiden (8.10).
