Finished runner-up in the corresponding race 12 months ago to the well-handicapped The Geegeez Geegee, and went one better on a return visit to Newton Abbot the following month.

Best when forcing the pace, Bogoss Du Perret left the impression there were more races to be won with him this summer when shaping nicely under more restrained tactics at Worcester last time out.

There is further improvement to come from this seven-year-old, and he looks worth a bet.
