Sweetspots: Bess looks set to go close on return to Salisbury
Billesdon Bess (3.40) is 3-6 at Salisbury and returns to the track for the first time since winning this race last season. She has run below-par so far this season but the return here could revitalise her.
William Haggas has a 47 per cent strike-rate when fitting a tongue-tie for the first time and Extra Large (8.00 Kempton) has the equipment fitted. Making his handicap debut with James Doyle back on board, he looks a decent bet.

Under Curfew (2.00 Beverley) runs for Jedd O’Keeffe and PJ McDonald, who have a 50 per cent record when teaming up at the Yorkshire venue. He made a pleasing debut here last month and should come on for that experience. With a good draw to boot, he could go close.
