Sweetspots: Private Secretary likely to do the job at Yarmouth

Credit: Harry Trump

John Gosden has an outstanding record with two-year-old debutants at Yarmouth (5-13). The trainer won this race last year and the well-bred Private Secretary (5.20) shouldn’t be opposed.

It’s worth taking note when Archie Watson enlists a hood as he is 3-7 when applying the aid for the first time. Show Of Strength (1.50 Wolverhampton) is related to plenty of juvenile winners and has a nice berth in stall four.

Dorella (8.15 Chepstow) ran is if she needed the outing at Sandown three weeks ago and Charlie Bishop, who has a 35 per cent strike rate for Eve Johnson-Houghton at the course, makes the journey from Salisbury for the ride.
