The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday
Petronella Manners(3.50 Doncaster)
Unexposed Shirocco mare who has shown hints of ability despite never coming close enough to trouble the judge. However, she was thought good enough to tackle a Listed contest at Cheltenham in April (beaten miles) and perhaps ran a career-best when last seen on the track in what was a really good race at Ascot. She wasn't beaten far at all that day despite being forced four-wide round the sweeping bend, and she looks to have a good chance of overturningthe Peter Bowen-trained Bang Bang Rosie.
Numero Uno(5.15 Kempton)
This handicap looks wide open but I'm going to take a chance on Martyn Meade's Numero Uno, who is fitted with first-time blinkers on just his fifth career start. A well-bred son of Dubawi, Numero Uno has been well found in the market on every start to date and clearly shows some ability at home. However, he hasn't been putting it all in on the track and hopefully the headgear will be the catalyst for a jolt of improvement. Longer trips than this will be more suitable for him in the future but he has the speed to win this race and has a perfect pitch in stall four.
