The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday
Light Of Joy(7.45 Newcastle)
I wouldn't be completely shocked if James Doyle won on all four of his rides at Newcastle on Tuesday evening, but the two he looks most likely to win on are Light Of Joy and Pouvoir Magique. The latter is likely to be short and consequently it's worth getting involved with David Lanigan's four-year-old filly, who showed determination and guts to score on seasonal reappearance at Leicester at Leicester last month and is only 4lb higher here. She's not under the handicapper's thumb just yet and she proved she can go well on artificial surfaces when third on her last start of 2017 at Chelmsford.
Form figures of 86030 aren't the most appealing but Tim Easterby's four-year-old is now making his third start since being gelded and given his performance on his penultimate start, he's well up to scoring in Newcastle's closer if handling the all-weather. That Thirsk contest was pretty good for the grade and both the winner, Acclaim The Nation, and second, Poyle Vinnie, are capable of better things. Computable beat the others hands down and although disappointing when 11th over the same course and distance last time, that also looked a strong race with the winner going on to win the Dash at Epsom on Saturday. I'd be disappointed if he wasn't in the first three.
