The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Sunday
A horse to follow for the rest of the season, Tom George's Seddon really impressed me on his hurdling debut at Stratford at the start of the month – winning without having to turn a hair – and looks well up to this level. George said he may well be better than Summerville Boy, who won the Supreme for the trainer last year, and it would take a brave soul to take him on.
Malone Road(3.55 Punchestown)
The closing bumper at Punchestown looks a match between Willie Mullins's Mt Leinster and Gordon Elliott's Malone Road, and it's the latter I'm siding with on the back of a fantastic Rules debut at Down Royal 15 days ago. Owned by Cheveley Park Stud, Malone Road, who cost a whopping £325,000, is held in really high regard by his trainer and justified significant market support when quickening clear of his rivals in the style of a good horse. This is tougher, but he is exciting and could be top class.
