The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Saturday

Ian Williams: trainer of Baydar
1 of 1

BANKER

Baydar(4.25 Haydock)

Looked a handicapper to follow when racking up four victories in a row as a three-year-old for Hugo Palmer, but lost his way after that off marks in the 100s. He subsequently moved to Ian Williams, who is a master at rejuvenating horses, and although he showed little in his first four runs for the yard, his handicap mark has plummeted and he went very close at Chester last time out when fitted with a first-time visor. The aid, as well as the step up to 1m6½f, looked the catalyst to his return to form that day and he looks likely to go close once more off just 1lb higher.

DARK HORSE

Seductive(5.25 Newmarket)

William Haggas's two-year-old filly has been in my tracker since finishing second on her third start as a horse to follow in nursery company, and she makes her debut in the sphere today. Ridden by Gabriele Malune, Seductive, who has found one too good on all three career starts, looks like she has the potential to be much better than a 77-rated individual as she has bumped into some fair types to date. This marks her first start on turf, which is sure to help, and she has just 8st on her back after Malune's 5lb claim is taken into account.
