The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Wednesday
Lil Rockerfeller(1.50 Goodwood)
Like Limini at Galway on Monday, Lil Rockerfeller reverts to the Flat to run off a low mark and should be extremely well treated. Hopefully the outcome is better than Willie Mullins' charge. Running off 82 (rated 153 over jumps), Lil Rockerfeller should have plenty in hand over his rivals providing he's near to full fitness on his return from 95 days off. The dual Group 2-winning hurdler was last seen finishing a clearcut second in a Salisbury handicap in 2015 and is still unexposed in this sphere. Silvestre de Sousa's booking is encouraging.
Beat The Bank(3.35 Goodwood)
Prolific gelding who has won six of his ten career starts, including the Group 2 Summer Mile last time out when grinding out victory despite not having the clearest passage. That was almost a career-best performance and the rain that fell at Goodwood on Tuesday morning will suit Andrew Balding's charge, who has form in ground with plenty of give. I don't fancy Without Parole at all and Expert Eye is the most likely winner, but he also needs the ground on the quick side and at the prices, I'd rather Beat The Bank.
Lynwood Gold(2.25 Goodwood)
Mark Johnston has won this handicap four times in the last ten years and he holds the key to this year's running as well with three of the 11 runners. Making Miracles heads the market but I'm not sure if the drop in trip will suit and he's running off a career-high mark, and instead I'd rather have an each-way bet on the outsider of Johnston's three runners, Lynwood Gold. The Mastercraftsman colt is relatively exposed but ran a nice race when fifth in a Listed event here earlier in the season and clearly didn't enjoy the 1m6f trip he's faced on his last three starts. Dropped back in distance now and running off a declining mark in easier company, Lynwood Gold is a steal of an each-way bet at around 16-1 on ground he'd enjoy.
