The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Friday
Kuwait Currency(6.55 Salisbury)
The Hannon family love to target this Listed Stonehenge Stakes and they look to have another huge chance of taking the prize with this Kitten's Joy colt. Just a 72,000gns purchase, he finished last on debut when everything was a bit too much for him, but readily made amends when bolting up by six lengths at Lingfield last time. He made all on that occasion and powered clear when asked, allowing Tom Marquand to ease down before the line. The step up in trip will definitely suit on that basis and hopefully he'll get a nice lead from Mark Johnston's runner.
Space Traveller(3.00 York)
There are plenty of unknown quantities in the Gimcrack this year and one of them is Space Traveller, who stands out to me as the class animal in the field. Owned by Clipper Logistics, Richard Fahey's colt remains unbeaten after two starts at Doncaster and Hamilton and is yet to be fully asked for his effort. He won readily on debut before facing an easy task at Hamilton last time over the minimum trip and this step back up to 6f isn't a worry. He's such a smooth traveller that a strong pace will see him at his best.
Mister Belvedere(1.55 York)
I'm not really taken by the top two in the market, but the four-year-olds are the ones to look at and Michael Dods's Mister Belvedere may be underestimated. The Archipenko gelding has looked a different prospect this season, recording form figures of 121 since returning from a break in July. He won over this course and distance when battling gamely three starts ago, and really caught the eye when finishing clear with a well-treated Paul Nicholls runner last time at Haydock. He's only 3lb higher here and is worth an each-way bet.
