I've kept a close eye on Publicist both times she's run so far and hopefully it will be a case of third-time lucky now that she is out of novice company. She ran a fine race to be fourth behind Setarhe on debut at Newmarket, form that reads well with the winner subsequently placed at Group and Listed level. Publicist then rather fluffed her lines at Doncaster next time when fourth again despite been sent off the evens favourite. She didn't seem to love the slower ground that day, but that form has also worked out with runner-up Magisterium winning twice since. Publicist has an opening mark of 66 for nurseries and it will be very disappointing if she's not better than that.
