The Evening Punt: David Baxter's free horse racing tips at Kempton on Wednesday
Wallem (5.45 Kempton)
Only five line up for this London Middle Distance Qualifier, but it is a fascinating race. Dancing King is understandably all the rage after a nine-length victory last time out, but he still looked pretty green and I don't want to be getting involved at cramped odds. Wallem, like Dancing King, was also a winner at Wolverhampton last time out, and I think this Derby entry will thrive over further. He was value for more than the official margin of a length-and-a-quarter and can follow up here.
Newcomer to note
Skedaddled (5.15 Kempton)
Trainer David Elsworth has a decent record in all-weather maiden/novice contests for the last five seasons (13-97), and over the same period at this course he has a 17 per cent strike-rate (10-59) with three-year-olds. Skedaddled has plenty of winners in her pedigree, and, despite a wide draw (stall ten) she may run a nice race at a price.
