Sweetspots: Sling well worth a shot on his handicap debut
James Fanshawe’s stable has been firing in the winners recently and when teaming up with Tom Queally at Yarmouth the pair operate at a 43 per cent strike-rate. Singapore Sling, who gets a first-time hood as well as making his handicap debut, looks interesting in the 4.20.
Richard Price and Tom Marquand have a 39 per cent strike-rate when teaming up at Chepstow. Of their two runners, Zaria looks the more interesting in the 2.30. She has never won off a mark this high but at Chepstow with Marquand on board she is 3-3.
Bohemian Rhapsody has yet to win going right-handed, which explains his recent poor performances on the Flat, so he should like going back left-handed at Chepstow in the 5.30. He has won on both starts at the course and looks on a dangerous mark.
