Sweetspots: Fife can strike at Ripon once more with Best Trip
Marjorie Fife has a 24 per cent strike-rate at Ripon. Her ten-year-old Best Trip has won three times from eight runs on good to firm ground and could outrun his odds in the 3.25.
Aidan Coleman has a 21 per cent strike-rate when riding for Jonjo O’Neill at Cheltenham. They combine twice with Upswing looking the best of the pair in the 3.50. He should be competitive under favoured conditions.
Luca Cumani and Adam Kirby have a 53 per cent strike-rate when combining at Lingfield. The first-time gelding Glorious Rocket runs in the 5.15.
John Gosden and Frankie Dettori have been in sparkling form recently. Castle Harbour, a course-and-distance winner, should appreciate the step back to 7f in the 2.25.
