Sweetspots: Day's best handicapped runner looks ready to follow up
Neil Mulholland strikes at 33 per cent with those reappearing within seven days of a win. Kansas City Chief (2.55) runs at Catterick after hacking up in a better race at Doncaster last week and is officially the best-handicapped runner of the day under his 7lb penalty.
Warren Greatrex and Richard Johnson have an 80 per cent strike-rate when combining at Chepstow. They team up for Rock My Style, who is expected to relish the longer trip in the 2.15.
Charlie Appleby boasts a 30 per cent strike-rate with three-year-old newcomers and is 42 and 36 per cent with such runners at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Broderie (2.35 Lingfield) and Sportswriter (7.15 Wolverhampton) look poised to make successful debuts.
Outlaw Torn certainly knows his way round Wolverhampton having won eight of his 44 starts at the track. He looks worthy of support in the 7.45 as he shoulders no penalty for his recent apprentice handicap success at Chelmsford.
