Sweetspots: Dangerously can gain repeat victory at Goodwood
Miss Ella Smith has enjoyed three winners from four rides at Salisbury. In the opening race (5.15) she partners the Gary Moore-trained Top Diktat, who is able to take his chance from a career-low mark.
The Ian Williams-trained Bengal Lancer has been raised 10lb in the handicap for his easy Salisbury success last week. However, he is allowed to run off the same mark over the same course and distance in the 7f handicap (7.25) and has outstanding claims.
John Bridger’s Live Dangerously has been in good form this summer and runs in the same 7f handicap at Goodwood (7.45) that he won in 2015. He wasn’t beaten far when fifth in last year’s renewal and should go well off a lower mark.
