Sweetspots: Ashoka looks set to score again for in-form Skelton
Dan Skelton has a 44 per cent strike-rate with winners reappearing within seven days compared to 18 per cent for all last-time-out winners. Ashoka was impressive at Stratford on Saturday and can follow up in the 7.10 at Exeter.
It looks the right time to side with Mr Mountain in the 3.05 at Kempton. He was 2-2 in Irish point-to-points and makes his debut over fences in a handicap for which his trainer has a 24 per cent strike-rate (+£32.42). Emma Lavelle has also been among the winners of late.
Via Egnatia looks interesting sporting a hood in the 2.55 at Newmarket. John Gosden is 38 per cent (5-13) when applying the aid for the first time and his colt signed off last year with a seven-length maiden win at the course.
