Ian Williams: trains One Flew Over, who will relish the extra emphasis on staminaCredit: Edward Whitaker

BANKER

One Flew Over(5.40 Windsor)

He doesn't have the most appealing form figures and does plenty wrong in his races, but it could be worth wading in with One Flew Over now stepped up in trip. The gelded son of Jeremy has taken plenty of time to come to hand, but if there's one trainer that can get everything out of a horse it has to be Ian Williams. He has been well supported on his last three runs but disappointed each time and connections have now decided to step up in four and a half furlongs in one swift move. He's been outpaced in races over 7f and a mile before plugging on at the end and the extra distance is sure to suit.

EYECATCHER

Giving Glances(3.10 Leicester)

This is a trappy little handicap and any of the five could win, but I put Giving Glances in my tracker when she finished a half-length second to the now 105-rated Maid Up at Doncaster at the start of June and she can now rack up a sequence of victories following her recent success. The form of that Doncaster event is working out extremely well, with the winner finishing a short-head second in Group company at Goodwood and the third and fourth scoring since. Giving Glances was disappointing on extremely fast ground at Nottingham on her penultimate start, but impressed in the way she fended off a Sir Mark Prescott improver last time and further progression is likely.
