Dan Skelton has a 34 per cent strike-rate – 52 from 155 – with horses making their first start for his yard, having switched from another stable. Breeze Along, formerly trained by Sam Thomas, makes his debut for Skelton in the 2.15 at Worcester.
At Brighton, John Berry and John Egan have individual strike-rates of 34 and 19 per cent. That rises to 43 per cent when they team up, as they do in the 4.30 with six-time course and distance winner Roy Rocket.
