Newmarket: David Milnes

Sextant (4.10 Newbury, nap)

Sir Michael Stoute's three-year-old ran well behind a more streetwise rival on his belated debut at Nottingham and should relish this step up to a mile and a half.

Shabbah (4.40 Newbury, nap)

Drop back in trip will suit this fella, who should have more to offer with Joe Tuite's string in better health than they were in the spring.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Shanghai Glory (3.15 Ripon)

Finished third in the race last year and a repeat effort could be enough this time off a lower mark. Plenty of excuses this season, but proved his well-being with a close second over 7f at Newmarket last time.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Boitron(1.50 Newbury)

Looked an above-average performer when scoring here and a hat-trick looks on the cards for this promising youngster.

Longshot: Sam King

Marie of Lyon (3.15 Ripon)

Richard Fahey's horse made some eye-catching headway in the Stewards' Cup before the saddle slipped. The trainer has his string in good form and the expected strongly-run race can see him go well.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Small Bit Of Love (6.50 Tramore)

The Willie Mullins-trained four-year-old has performed creditably on her three starts this year, winning over an extended 1m5f at Ballinrobe before finishing fourth over 1m7f at Leopardstown nine days ago. The extra furlong today should suit and she gets the vote to score under Colin Keane.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Gustav Klimt has an impeccable 3/3 record when racing over 7f, despite being 0/6 over other trips. He has to be of serious interest back at that distance in the 3.35 at Newbury.
