He ran a blinder over the course last time out to finish a close second to Way Back Then after blundering two out. I give him a real solid chance.
He is going to make up into the most lovely chaser one day, but there could be a good prize in him over hurdles first.
Topofthegame is one of the biggest horses I've sat on – he's an absolute giant – and was going nicely when he fell at Newbury on his chasing debut in November.
He has done well since and, while still looking a bit raw, remains open to considerable improvement after just four starts.
A mark of 139 appears fair, and I give him a nice chance in what is always a fiercely contested handicap.
