Sam Twiston-Davies: hoping wind op can work the oracle with Calett Mad
Leading jockey and Racing Post columnist Sam Twiston-Davies with the lowdown on his rides at Doncaster on Saturday
Adrien Du Pont (1.30)
He jumped really well at Ascot last time, but faded late on to finish second to Coney Island after doing plenty in the early stages.
Adrien Du Pont has a nice way of going about things, and Doncaster should suit him. We're hopeful of a big run in receipt of 5lb from Sceau Royal.
Calett Mad (2.05)
I've sat on him at home, and he's undergone a wind op since his last run. He looks capable of a bold performance.
Flying Angel (3.15)
Flying Angel drops into handicap company after contesting some hot Grade 1 and 2 events.
He enjoyed a fantastic season last year, highlighted by his Grade 1 triumph at Aintree, but has found life tough so far this campaign.
The handicapper has dropped Flying Angel a couple of pounds since his last run, and he's been in great form at home.
Foxtail Hill (3.50)
He is a bold-jumping, forward-going horse who would prefer a less testing surface.
I don't think he's particularly well handicapped at the moment, but there are definitely more races to be won with him.
