Paul Kealy provides his Tote Placepot perm at Musselburgh
The Dan Skelton-trained Craylands is forecast to be one of the favourites for the opening leg of the Musselburgh Placepot (12.50) and given her flat form, she should have a decent chance.
However, her one run on bad ground resulted in a heavy odds-on defeat, so she's the type of runner to oppose in this type of bet. Her blowout potential is certainly much great than that of Sashenka, who is no great shakes, but has the best form of those to have run.
Bullion Boss won in commanding fashion at the track three weeks ago and has to be included in leg two (1.20) despite dropping in trip, while Esme Shelby has shaped well enough in her two starts under rules to suggest her opening mark is fair.
Nine has already become eight in the 2.25 and one more non-runner will reduce the places to two, but Tommy's Oscar still looks a solid favourite – I'll take the chance and bank on him landing his hat-trick.
