Nap of the day: best horse racing tips from the Sunday's three meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Ludlow

3.40: Coolnaugh Haze

There should be no hanging about with Sofia's Rock in the field and both Aliomaana and Chasamax are others who like to race prominently. It could set up for a closer and last time at Huntingdon Coolnaugh Haze (nap) showed what he can do when ridden with restraint in a strongly run race. His previous conqueror Just The Man is always a force to be reckoned with here and is to be feared.
Alistair Jones

Hamilton

5.45: Aasser

Five of these arrive on the back of a win and the upwardly mobile Aasser (nap) may prove the pick of them. His reappearance success at Lingfield was a major step forward, and, if he's just as effective on grass as the all-weather, he may well follow up. Among a host of dangers, the consistent pair Lethal Levi and Beluga Gold, the unexposed Westmorian and the penalised topweight River Pride appeal the most.
Richard O'Brien

Plumpton

3.25: Tamaroc Du Mathan

The feature race can go to Tamaroc Du Mathan (nap), who is very well handicapped if judged on last year's Grade 2 novice chase win and ran well in defeat in a Newbury Grade 3 in March. Nothing went right for him in last month's Topham at Aintree, so that run can easily be overlooked. Resurgent ten-year-old Slate House bids to complete a hat-trick and is second choice, ahead of Mahler's Promise.
