Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post'sunbeatable Spotlights team
Impressive Naas winner Logo Hunter (nap) has given the impression that he can win at a higher level than this and sets a high standard. His progression for Michael Browne has been such that he should cope with his former stablemate Frenetic who won two 5f Listed races at two. There may be better to come from two other three-year-old fillies Russian River and Queens Carriage.
With a pedigree pointing to improvement at this sort of trip, Hunting Percival (nap) can take his form to a new level. Drumlee Watar is a solid alternative but most danger may come from Uno Mas.
In this lower grade, last week's course third Kilconquhar (nap) should have every chance. Hard Solution is next best after his narrow Redcar win, and the fifth from that race, Niagara, also comes into it.
An interesting three-year-old handicap featuring several unexposed sorts. Top weight Sir Rumi commands plenty of respect, having bumped into a smart prospect last time. King Of Tsavo has an absence to overcome but retains a good deal of potential and could still be well treated off 80. However, at the foot of the weights Innse Gall (nap), who shaped with abundant promise on his reappearance, makes plenty of appeal and gets the vote.
7.00:Ice Station Zebra
The Blue Bower has conditions to suit and should go well but this may rest between Arabic Charm and Ice Station Zebra (nap). The former is chasing a hat-trick and should be quick enough to deal with this drop in trip but the selection boasts some very solid sprint form, won first time out last season and represents a stable in good order.
This looks a good opportunity for Mustazeed (nap), who was a close third over 8.6f on his handicap debut three weeks ago and promises to be suited by today's extra distance. Stigwood has a point to prove after a poor performance but his run at Windsor two starts ago was quite promising and he is second choice, ahead of Alaskan Lady.
