BANKER

(7.40 Windsor)

This three-year-old handicap should be between Buffer Zone and Perfect Hustler and with plenty of pace on as well as a small field, it should be a fair contest with limited hard luck stories. Consequently you'd have to favour Roger Charlton's Buffer Zone, who beat Perfect Hustler by just over a length when they faced off against each other in October at Kempton. He was worth more than the winning distance that day at Kempton given he found trouble in running and although he's 7lb worse off at the weights, the way he scored over this course and distance at the start of the month suggested he had come on significantly over the winter. The second has since won at Newmarket and Buffer Zone is likely to record a hat-trick here.

EYECATCHER

(7.10 Windsor)

Richard Hannon's team is absolutely flying at the moment following a four-timer at Newmarket on Saturday and he can add another winner to his recent tally with this three-year-old, who makes her handicap debut off a mark of 71. Julie Wood's daughter of Swiss Spirit ran well on debut over five furlongs at Newmarket last year but obviously had a problem and was off the track for 388 days after. However, she returned with a useful third in a novice event at Lingfield to two runners in their 90s, before coming home in fourth in a good race at Bath last time. The form is working out, with the winner holding her own in a Class 2 handicap and the second and third scoring on their subsequent runs. There's plenty of pace on here but she can stalk them from her wide draw and pounce when they flounder in the final furlong.
