Elysian can get your week off to a flyer at Thirsk

Elysian Flyer (near) was one of the horses who made me champion jockey, and he joined me when I started training, so I was obviously sad to see him sold

Newmarket: David Milnes

Bedouin's Story (3.05 Thirsk, nap)

May not have got home when third over a mile at Newmarket last tie and should fare better back to seven furlongs. Saeed Bin Suroor's topweight has since worked well on the Limekilns.

Others to follow
Leicester
2.20 Happy Odyssey, 2.50 Floria Tosca, 4.20 Reddiac, 4.50 Seyasah.
Thirsk 4.35 Star Shield, 5.35 Ubla.
Windsor 6.00 Luxor, 6.30 Mystic Meg, 7.00 Cowboy Soldier, 8.00 Loved So Much.

North: Colin Russell

(5.05 Thirsk, nap)

Best run for a while over 7f at Catterick last time and with today's step up to a mile expected to suit and with the ground on the easy side is fancied to take advantage of his current good mark.

Others to follow
Bangor: 5.40 Promise Of Peace, 6.40 Beach Break, 7.10 Ganbei, 7.40 Danceintothelight, 8.10 Sense Of Urgency.
Leicester: 2.20 Jensue, 2.50 The Last Debutante, 3.20 Presidential, 3.50 Stellar Comet, 4.20 Mr Diamond, 4.50 Ninjago.
Thirsk: 2.05 Olivia R, 2.35 Fuente, Queen Penn, 3.35 Granny Roz, 4.05 Champagne Rules, 4.35 Shawaamekh, 5.35 Gaelic Wizard.
Windsor: 7.00 Shaheen, 7.30 Tylery Wonder.

Lambourn: James Burn

Quiet Waters(2.20 Leicester, nap)

Archie Watson's juveniles continue in fine form and this dual winner can be forgiven her nursery debut at Newmarket this month when she got worked up in the stalls. Should be in the mix if leaving that experience behind her.

Others to follow
Bangor 5.40 True Companion, 6.10 Cahill,
Leicester 2.50 Dependable, 3.50 Over The Guns, 4.20 Sophosc.
Windsor 5.30 Peace And Plenty, 6.00 Temujin, 7.00 Kimifive, 8.00 Athary.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Easy Tiger (3.20 Leicester, nap)

Course-and-distance winner who deserves to get her head back in front after some decent efforts in defeat over the summer. Will not go down without a fight and another bold showing is on the cards.

Others to follow
Bangor: 6.40 Ambre Des Marais, 7.10 Perfect Timing.
Windsor: 5.30 American Patrol.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Elysian Flyer (3.35 Thirsk)

Course-and-distance winner who posted his best effort for a while when narrowly denied at Beverley last time out. Has the back form to build on that.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Point In Time (2.50 Leicester)

Gained an overdue initial success at Newmarket earlier this month and Mark Usher's filly can follow up off her revised mark.

Longshot: Simon Giles

French Flyer(4.05 Thirsk)

Down the field last time but shaped better than the bare result wearing a first-time hood in a race not run to suit and could go close here if building on that with the step up in trip also expected to suit.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Crecerelle (7.20 Roscommon)

The son of Redoute's Choice, who missed an engagement at the Galway festival due to a bruised foot, has sound claims in tonight's 1m2f maiden with his ability to handle soft ground a plus. At Leopardstown in April he ran Cimeara, who went on to win at Listed and Group 3 level, to half a length in a handicap over tonight's trip and while those behind him have failed to advertise the form, he looks the one to beat.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Dan Skelton has form figures of 3114311 (57% +£9.58) in maiden events at Bangor since the start of 2017. He has Lester Kris in that race type at 5.40.
