Pipers Note has an excellent record at Ripon. The eight-year-old is
bidding for his seventh course win in the 8.10 and makes plenty of appeal off 4lb lower than for his last success.

John Gosden and James Doyle are worth noting when they team up at Nottingham. The pair operate at a 38 per cent strike-rate at the venue and can enhance their record with Tricorn in the 3.50.
