Signposts: Arctic Spirit looks set to kickstart Gordon’s day

Josephine Gordon has a number of decent rides at Newmarket, but she goes to Chelmsford before those to ride Arctic Spirit in the 1.20. Ed Dunlop’s filly was unlucky over course and distance last time.

Ian Williams has a good record with horses in a first-time hood. Kreb’s Cycle (4.25 Goodwood), who is back on his last winning mark, has been running decent races without winning this summer and can improve for the aid.
