Leicester Placepot picks: tipster Gary Savage with his Tuesday selections

Leicester looks the Placepot call and in the apprentice handicap (1.55) there's no need to look beyond perennial bridesmaid At Liberty, whose best run came over course and distance under Tuesday's jockey Joe Bradnam.

There's not much point in taking on Highbank in the novice (2.30) as even his beaten effort last time would see him placed in this, so save your powder for the nursery (3.05).

Kevin Ryan has a good record with two-year-olds here, so stick in Camacho Star and also Emerald Duchess, whose run last time here was in a better race.

Two is probably the call again in the fillies' conditions stakes (3.40) in which Magical Sunset has a bit to find but is lightly raced enough to overcome it. Add Beautiful Aisling, who has William Buick in the saddle.

It has to be worth taking on the top-rated To The Bar in the seller (4.15) as he hasn't beaten a rival in three of his last four runs. Instead, try Emerald Lady who will like conditions and whose jockey Pierre-Louis Jamin has a good record for Karl Burke.

The Class 2 handicap (4.45) rounds off the Placepot and it could be worth taking on those who have been running in tough handicaps all year with Audience, who can improve for a hood and gelding operation, and Auditor, who can be forgiven his last run and is otherwise progressive.
