Yarmouth Placepot tips: Richard Birch with his advice for Tuesday's card

A field containing some choicely bred unraced newcomers will assemble for Yarmouth’s juvenile mile fillies’ novice stakes (1.23).

A Cappella, a Frankel filly trained by John and Thady Gosden, and the Charlie Appleby-trained Show Lights, a daughter of Dubawi, are the pair to put in Placepot perms.

Clitheroe takes a significant drop in class in the 6f juvenile fillies’ novice stakes (1.55) after finishing fifth in Goodwood’s Group 3 Prestige Stakes.

This looks a great opportunity for her to relinquish maiden status at the third time of asking.

Tarhib will start at restrictive odds and is hard to oppose in the 6f novice stakes (2.30) on the back of an impressive Lingfield success.

I’m sweet on the chance of Hilary’s Boy in the 6f nursery (3.05), and confidently expect him to confirm Chelmsford form with topweight Pocket The Profit.

Course winner Mystic Dragon and the fairly treated Gustave Aitch are my two against the field in the 1m3f handicap (3.40).

Wow William, a consistent sort in handicaps with recent form figures of 3442, should go well under Ryan Moore in the 1m2f handicap (4.15).

Crystal Guard shouldn’t be far away at the finish either.
