The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

EYECATCHER

(2.05 Haydock)

Mark Johnston often runs his best three-year-old stayers in this race – Making Miracles won in 2018, Sir Ron Priestley followed suit in 2019 and recent Ascot Gold Cup winner Subjectivist finished a gallant second last season. He has three runners in this year's edition, the best of whom could be Harlem Soul, who is a half-brother to relentless gallopers Vivionn and Ispolini. Harlem Soul took four runs to get off the mark but he was visually impressive at Ripon last time and the step up to 1m6f is only going to bring about further improvement. His mark of 84 looks lenient, too.

DARK HORSE

(5.15 Sandown)

The bookmakers are offering a double-figure price about Remedium in the Sandown finale, which just looks far too big. The Richard Hannon-trained three-year-old was beaten just a length-and-a-quarter on his seasonal reappearance behind subsequent Cazoo Derby fifth Third Realm and got a bit lonely out in front at Windsor next time. He travelled like the best horse when last seen at Chester off this mark but failed to handle the camber in the straight and a return to this more conventional track should see him to better effect.
