The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Friday afternoon
BANKER
McFabulous (3.00 Newbury)
This year's edition of the Long Distance Hurdle looks way above average and although Paisley Park brings strong form to the table, he struggled in a weaker renewal last year (length winner over Thistlecrack) and is worth taking on given he returns from a long break. McFabulous has long been considered a future champion and his last three successes, which include the EBF Final at Sandown and Persian War at Chepstow, indicate that he's not far off already. The beautiful-looking six-year-old has a brilliant jumping technique, travels powerfully and finds for pressure. His high cruising speed should have this field in trouble early in the homestraight.
