Son of Dark Angel who was sent off an 11-4 favourite on his debut at Yarmouth in May but threw his chance away at the beginning when breaking worst of all. Showed greenness when getting out the gates (jumped the path) but got his act together nicely late on to be beaten only two and three-quarter lengths into seventh. Given time to mature since that first run (62-day break) and I expect a much-improved showing from the Roger Varian-trained juvenile in this 6f Chelmsford novice.
