The Punt Daily: Robbie Wilders' horse racing tip at Clonmel on Thursday
BANKER
Pencilfulloflead (1.30 Clonmel)
The 3m conditions hurdle at Clonmel can go the way of Pencilfulloflead at the expense of Burrows Saint. The Willie Mullins-trained Burrows Saint is rated 3lb higher over fences but is much more exposed and Pencilfulloflead was progressing fast last season as a novice. He defeated Latest Exhibition by seven lengths in a Grade 2 before almost striking at the top level when beaten half a length by Colreevy at Limerick in December. He has run well fresh in the past and this looks a suitable starting point before he takes aim at better-quality contests. His trainer Gordon Elliott is convinced his seven-year-old has much more to offer this year.
