Provided he's sharp enough for his first start since a terrific Curragh second in May, expect a bold bid from this relatively unexposed five-year-old in the 1m6f handicap at Gowran.

Conditions are likely to be pretty testing on a second consecutive afternoon of action at the track, but that should prove no problem to the Tom Mullins-trained performer.

He proved effective on soft to heavy when last seen chasing home the well-handicapped Foveros over 2m, and this slightly shorter trip could be even more suitable. He meets some fairly capable operators here but is entitled to be thereabouts as an each-way contender.
