The Punt Daily: Keith Melrose's free horse racing tip in France on Thursday
BANKER
Roxo Has (4.20 Lyon Parilly)
Of the four-year-olds in this race who have chasing experience, none particularly inspire. That certainly applies with a couple of promising chasing debutants in the field. Purple Light's best form (Listed third at Auteuil, when few got involved) gives him a chance but the eye was very much drawn to how Roxo Has shaped at Angers two weeks ago. In a race that took a long time to warm up, Roxo Has was still there approaching the last and, on his first run since October, tenderly handled once beaten. He is bred to make a better chaser and Angelo Zuliani taking over the ride from Theo Chevillard can be taken as a statement of intent.
