Wincanton Placepot picks: Paul Kealy has a banker to kick-start the perm

has shown more than enough to win a maiden hurdle when second last time for Olly Murphy and he looks banker material for Placepot punters in the opener at Wincanton (1.15), a race which looks weak on paper.

Murphy's is one to consider in the next (1.45) on his second run after a wind op, but it's probably going to be hard to keep out of the frame. He found only big-gamble Ardhill too good at Ascot last time.

In leg three (2.15) is one of those horses who has been dropped very quickly by the handicapper and has to be considered, and if repeats the form of his penultimate outing, when Harry Cobden last rode, he'll be on the premises too.

The next (2.45) is pretty tricky, but I would expect to be more of a factor back over hurdles, and can go well on his second run after a wind op.

I'd also add , who was a bit too keen upped to 2m5½f last time, but is still going the right way.

is on the same mark as when running his best race of the season three weeks ago, so looks an obvious one for the next (3.15), while finished a place ahead of him and also has to be included.

That just leaves the Somerset National (3.50), in which is obvious and has better prospects than his odds suggest.
