Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for Tuesday's five meetings
Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Brighton
3.20: Mrs Meader
Preference is for Mrs Meader, who suggested her turn was coming when staying on strongly for third over 1m2f last time out. Anything ridden by Simon Walker or Serena Brotherton is always worth a second look in these contests and their mounts Lady Isabel and Hidden Pearl have obvious claims.
Stuart Redding
Beverley
5.15: Fossos
Drawn wide when backed at prices and not seeing out 6f on his comeback, Fossos pulled right away from the rest at Catterick last time, when having Amazing Anna well behind, and there can't be any complaints about a 2lb rise. She's A Deva has been expensive to follow but has had excuses lately and is a threat from stall 1.

Ayr
2.35: Whittle Le Woods
Harswell Duke is very much the unknown quantity on this handicap debut following his easy Musselburgh win but this is likely to be a completely different test and therefore Whittle Le Woods is preferred. Michael Dods's colt has run two creditable races since switched to turf and has given the impression on a number of occasions that a step up to 7f would suit.
David Bellingham
Newbury
7.30: Sunset Bay
Ed Walker's Sunset Bay would probably have won at Salisbury last week had that race panned out favourably and she gets in off the same mark. She handled this softer ground fine the time before at York. Blackcastle Storm looks a dangerous opponent back on softish terrain and returning to 7f won't hurt him. Newton Jack is another with solid claims.
Alistair Jones
Newton Abbot
6.15: Delight Of Dubai
Demon D'Aunou won comfortably off today's mark last summer and comes here after two good efforts this spring but he's not entirely straightforward and a safer option is Delight Of Dubai, who went very close at Exeter in April and gave another good account when third at Worcester last month. Vocaliser lost his way a bit during the winter but this is effectively his first run after a break and, if he's back on song, his current mark is workable.
