Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Thurles

3.45: Fakir D'Alene

It's hard to oppose Fakir D'alene (nap) who made easy work of a beginners' chase at Down Royal last time and with the runner-up boosting the form subsequently, he could be very well handicapped from a mark of 132 for handicap debut. The Chapel Field may prove best of the rest if he takes to first-time blinkers.

Warwick

3.25: Frisco Bay

On the back of his good second here last month, Frisco Bay (nap) can go one better and open his chase account. Dhowin (second choice) is respected off a reduced mark, while Smuggler's Blues has possibilities in first-time headgear and Goodnight Charlie is another suggestion for the shortlist.

Lingfield

3.35: Eclair Mag

The Sussex National principals, Go Whatever and Pemberley, are must inclusions on any shortlist as there's good reason to believe that both can find extra on that form. However, plenty of others catch the eye and there's a strong suspicion that Eclair Mag (nap) might be well handicapped on this ground. Laskalin (second choice) could be made for a test of this nature and also warranting a mention are dark horses The Galloping Bear and Fado Des Brosses.
