Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Selections from Ayr, Kempton and Wolverhampton

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Ayr

2.45: Buzz De Turcoing

The suggestion is Buzz De Turcoing(nap), who measured his fences like a natural when second at Wetherby and the potential is there to leave this mark behind. Grand Morning ran as though in need of the race at Hexham and he's next best, ahead of Le Cheval Noir. Not that Sunset West and Cadeyrn are dismissed lightly.
Alistair Jones

Kempton

2.25: Uzincso

Bashosh has cost his supporters dear in his two handicap runs but he shaped well before his stamina gave way at Wolverhampton last time and he could have a bigger run in him back at a mile. Indeed should be making a big impact at this level but although Uzincso(nap) is up in class today, his course and distance record is impressive and he can take the next step up the ladder.
Paul Smith

Wolverhampton

7.00: Beryl The Peril

Preference is for Beryl The Peril(nap), who has been knocking on the door in her last two starts and was a clear second behind a well-handicapped rival who got first run over course and distance last time. Prolific winner Peachey Carnehan scored here on his penultimate run and he's feared most, though Outake returned to form with a close fifth at Newcastle three weeks ago and is a big player if he can build on that. Others to consider are Desert Dream and Hoofs Happy Now.
