Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Kempton

7.50: Crystal Casque

Top of the list is Crystal Casque, who won this race off the same mark last year and has finished runner-up in her last three starts including a near miss at Sandown two weeks ago.
David Moon

Musselburgh

2.40: Leading Company

John Quinn's Leading Company was well on top of Jim's Cracker when they hit the line at Beverley and he can bring up the hat-trick. The runner-up should make it interesting with a 6lb pull.
Alistair Jones

Sligo

7.30: The Grey Lad

Cases can be made for a few of these. Hophornbeam is consistent and has run well here before, while the locally-trained Fassbender is more of a Downpatrick specialist but should go well. Guido Reni has a poor win record but comes into it on his last effort here. No horse comes here in better form though than The Grey Lad after a decisive win at Down Royal and a better effort in defeat at Killarney.

Wolverhampton

2.15: Miss Blennerhasset

Lindwall ran well on turf when returned to the Flat in May and may be seen to even better effect now back on Tapeta but the most appealing option is the 3yo filly Miss Blennerhasset, who has made a very solid start to her handicap career and probably still has untapped potential as a stayer. C&D winner Winklevi needs to better his recent turf form but lurks on a dangerous mark.
Chris Wilson

Worcester

6.40: Accidental Rebel

Several of these have strong claims, with Presenting Pete and Dasher Riley (second choice) high on the list. It is hard to escape Accidental Rebel after his C&D win last month and he can maintain his unbeaten record for Fergal O'Brien.
Jonathan Neesom

York

2.25: Chaldean

Promising and unexposed colts line up for a typically interesting Acomb. The suggestion is Chalden, who holds particularly strong claims judged on his latest Newbury performance. Local Dynasty, who was impressive at Newmarket, is feared most ahead of Indestructible who looks a useful Irish colt. Mill Stream, who has a big shout on his latest 6f effort, should be involved provided he stays the new trip.
