Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Monday selections from Galway, Newton Abbot, Ayr, Lingfield and more

Galway
6.45: National Ballet
Plenty of these come here in form and the question is whether Ever A Dream can follow up under her 16lb penalty for her Fairyhouse win. Marginal preference is for St Leger entry National Ballet who was getting there gradually before a convincing success at Limerick last time. He can take beating.
Justin O'Hanlon
Newton Abbot
3.10: Stanley Stanley
This looks competitive for the grade with several in fine form. Stanley Stanley travelled powerfully en route to beating Lapford Lad over course and distance this month and can maintain her improvement off 6lb higher. Old rivals Outlaw Jack and Josie Abbing (in that order) are the main threats.

Ayr
2.50: Ravenscraig Castle
The lightly raced three-year-old Ravenscraig Castle stayed on well to win over 1m3f at Carlisle on his recent handicap debut and, with stamina seemingly a strength, he can follow up now tackling 1m5f. Fellow three-year-old Fandabidozi has become expensive to follow but is a consistent type and could be best of the rest. Red Missile arrives on the back of a win, while Greengage has won five times this year but wasn't at her best at York on Saturday.
Ben Hutton
Lingfield
1.55: Crestwood
There may yet be a bigger run in The Vegas Raider but preference is for William Buick's mount Crestwood, who moves up in trip after making a winning handicap debut over 1m2f here last month. That form was given a significant boost when the runner-up won his next race by six lengths.
Chris Wilson
Windsor
8.25: Lisdarragh
There are plenty of in-form contenders in the line-up but top of the list is Lisdarragh, who pulled a long way clear of the third when going close over C&D last Monday and is well treated off the same mark here. The last-time-out winners Bird To Love and Hy Eales are feared most in that order, though Blue Beret is respected after her creditable second on her turf debut at Epsom last time. Others who could be in the mix are Pump It Up and My Boy Charles.
David Moon
Wolverhampton
8.40: Hurricane Ali
This low-grade handicap looks a good opportunity for Hurricane Ali, whose recent hurdling exploits would suggest he's a far better horse now than when he last ran on the Flat. Toybox is the second choice ahead of Sonnetina and Bristol Missile.
