Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Thursday selections from Chelmsford, Clonmel, Ffos Las, Lingfield and Stratford

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

6.30: Enchanted Night

The two unexposed runners in the field are Enchanted Night and the latter could make her breakthrough now back down to five furlongs. Of the more experienced contenders don't rule out another big run from It Must Be Faith on his 100th career start, while Stronsay was impressive at Catterick on Tuesday, albeit under very different circumstances.
Paul Smith

Clonmel

4.05: Sapphire Lady

Dropping down in trip after running freely over three miles last time, Sapphire Lady could take some pegging back from the front. Sayce Gold is a fascinating runner making her chasing debut and has the rating to go well, while Make My Heart Fly won't be far away.
Tyrone Molloy

Ffos Las

3.40: Blueberg

Golden Emblem was progressive last season and returns with her yard going well and also respected on their returns from a break are Kuraka and Bembridge. However, a bit of recent match practice does not go amiss and the form of Blueberg at Stratford was boosted at Cheltenham last week. He gets the nod ahead of Sermando.

Naps table: daily tipping selections from national newspaper experts

Lingfield

1.03: Rogue Power

The lightly raced and unexposed Rogue Power has a good chance judged on his second at Yarmouth last week. Fascinating Lips for the in-form Gary Moore could easily be a danger despite his absence, while a similar comment applies to June's course-and-distance winner Waterloo Sunset. The shortlist is completed by Cuban Cigar.
Richard Austen

Stratford

4.25: Norley

This can go to Norley, who runs off his old mark after a good effort behind an unexposed winner at Exeter and should be open to some improvement over this trip. Seaborough is reliable and has fewer ifs and buts than the remainder, although Dr Oakley is worth watching for the future after showing improved form to win his latest completion in February 2020. Colours Of My Life didn't think much of chasing over three miles on her debut for this yard but this ordinary hurdle over shorter could see her to better effect.
