Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for Monday's four meetings
Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
The 74-rated filly Alice Kitty has a profile that suggests she is more likely to run up to her rating than 73-rated gelding Macadam's Rock. Best of the remainder may be Rare Flower.
Six furlongs at Chepstow brings out the best in Tawaafoq and he's the selection ahead of Atty's Edge, who also likes it here. Things may click for the well-bredthree-year-old Enoughisgoodenough at some point but she's been well beaten in her first two handicaps.
Supporters ofCelestial Force need to forgive a duff effort in a Grade 3 handicap at Haydock last month but he had excuses there, and the form of his earlier Sandown fifth looks strong. He gets the nod ahead of Byzantine Empire who beat a next-time-out winner in a Southwell novice last month and now makes his handicap debut. Thahab Ifraj is in prime form and also warrants consideration.
Lightly racedsix-year-oldPinnacle Peak displayed improvement when fourth over 2m4f here last month and is open to further progress over today's longer trip (his dam won over 3m2f) but preference is for Eden Collonges, who was third behind a revitalised subsequent winner over course-and-distance two weeks ago and is effectively 5lb lower today. Big Picture is next on the list.
Yagood has been going off at short prices in similar races all season and has the potential to do so again under Simon Walker. He may well be up to defying a 4lb rise but Master Grey is well treated against him, being 11lb lower than for last summer's comeback, and he looks the one to be on after a better effort back from wind surgery three weeks ago. The lightly raced Quick Waltz is also considered under Serena Brotherton.
