Market Rasen: Paul Kealy picks two bankers to kick off Thursday's perm

There are decent-sized fields at Market Rasen and, although only seven go in the first (12.22), I reckon we can bank.

It ought to be between George Bancroft and , and I'll go with the latter, who shaped well over course and distance and was a better horse on the Flat.

In the next (12.52) made a fine start for Olly Murphy when a commanding winner at Ludlow (third has been second since and fifth has won) and he should he hard to keep out of the frame, even under a penalty.

Leg three (1.22) is more open, so we'll go with two. , shaped nicely on his debut over hurdles last time, and hurdles debutant , a staying type who will appreciate this trip after his encouraging debut fifth in a bumper.

Main fancy goes in with the consistent in leg four (1.52), while in the next (2.22) the obvious selection is joined by veteran , who is running into form and is well handicapped.

That just leaves the closing handicap hurdle (2.52) in which is 6lb well in and should be hard to beat off the same mark as for last week's Lingfield success, which came in a good time for the grade.
